Using Git to add multiple untracked files at once
Published on 10/7/2013
You've created a bunch of new files and want to add them all to your commit. Normally, to stage a new, untracked file you would type:
git add filename
And you would do that for each and every file. But that's tedious and we hate tedium. Instead, you can add all the files at once by typing the following command:
git add .
That's it, it's that easy.
